200km over the horizon airborne Mesh Ad hoc network long-distance image transmission communication scheme

At present, industrial grade vertical and fixed wing long endurance unmanned aerial vehicles have a hardware endurance of several hundred kilometers, which is sufficient to support large-scale and long-distance aerial operations. However, in actual field operations, the effective operating radius of drones is often only able to maintain a dozen kilometers, which cannot fully utilize the hardware advantages of long haul aircraft. After extensive field engineering verification, the core factors that constrain beyond line of sight operations are not the aircraft power system, flight control accuracy, or mission payload performance, but the insufficient stability of the integrated communication link for air map transmission, data transmission, and flight remote control, limited transmission distance, and weak anti-interference ability.

In complex operational scenarios such as mountainous forest areas, nearshore seas, and open borders, the outdoor electromagnetic environment is complex and the terrain is frequently obstructed. Coupled with the signal fluctuations generated by the high-speed movement of unmanned aerial vehicles, traditional civilian image transmission and conventional industrial data transmission equipment are prone to long-distance packet loss, image lag, link interruption, flight loss control and other faults, seriously affecting the safety of operations and the quality of task completion.
